Lead Research Management and Governance Manager– Maternity Leave Cover

Agenda for Change Band 8b: £42,064 - £52,002 pro-rata
Hours: 15-22.5 per week
Fixed Term Contract: to July 2009

An experienced Lead Research Management and Governance (RM&G) Manager is required to provide maternity leave cover from August 2008 to July 2009 for the South Yorkshire Comprehensive Local Research Network (SYCLRN). This is a senior role within the CLRN Core Team and you will be expected to lead on the development and implementation of appropriate systems to ensure the effective delivery of CLRN research management functions.

You will have good leadership skills, be an effective people manager and have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. You will also have proven experience and skills in the initiation and management of organisational change, personnel management, NHS clinical research management and governance, and project management.

Experience of working in an NHS, University, Research or Public Sector environment will be a distinct advantage and secondments from local Trusts will be considered. For further information about Comprehensive Local Research Networks please click here.
