We are looking for a research nurse to focus on diabetes studies that call for participation of high risk cardiovascular patients. The role will involve working with the cardiovascular clinical service teams to identify and triage participants to an appropriate clinical trial then organise appropriate follow-up in the clinical diabetes department. Recruitment and follow-up of trial participants will be done in line with study protocols, guidelines and research regulations. We offer a structured training package to ensure that your professional development continues as you grow in this role. You will need to have a minimum of four years post registration experience with one to two years in research or diabetes or cardiology and have plenty of enthusiasm for a career in clinical research.
The research nurse will work mainly with the cardiovascular and diabetes teams within Imperial College Healthcare Trust but there may be a requirement to travel to other sites in North West London to undertake research.
