Research Management

Human Resources (HR): Good Practice for Researchers in the NHS - 25 January and 4 February 2008
As part of NIHR CRN CC's roll-out of standardised approaches to Research Management and Governance a training day on Human Resources (HR): Good Practice for Researchers in the NHS was organised to provide Comprehensive Local Research Networks (CLRNs), CLRN host organisations, the Topic Specific Clinical Research Networks (TCRNs) and the Primary Care Research Network (PCRN) with the knowledge, materials and support they require to introduce streamlined arrangements for issuing Honorary Research Contracts. Specifically, the training day was aimed at those staff within the above organisations that have, or will have, direct responsibility for helping to implement these changes including Senior Managers and RM&G Managers in CLRNs, HR staff in CLRN host organisations and Network Managers in the TCRNs/PCRN.
