Getting Involved in Clinical Research
UKCRN has produced a leaflet entitled "Getting Involved in Clinical Research" which gives a brief introduction to clinical research and highlights some of the activities that patients and the public may be asked to take part in.

Understanding Clinical Trials
The UK Clinical Research Collaboration has produced a booklet on "Understanding Clinical Trials", which explains what clinical trials are and how and why they are carried out. It is designed to answer the many questions people may have when deciding whether to take part in a trial.

Clinical Trials: What they are and what they're not
The UK Clinical Research Collaboration has developed this leaflet which answers some of the many questions people have about clinical trials including: Why do we need to do them? Are they safe? What happens at the end of a trial? It was developed in collaboration with the Association of Medical Research Charities.

Please contact UKCRN if would like to order printed copies of any of the above.
