The core purpose of this work stream is to contribute to the development and support of the people who conduct and contribute to the CRN portfolio of studies. We do this by providing training opportunities that support core research activities and by getting involved in national and local initiatives that support and enable the development of a knowledgeable and capable research workforce. We work with training and workforce development leads across the NIHR CRN and a range of external partners so that our activities connect with and support the wider context of knowledge and skill development in the clinical research workforce.
