NIHR CRN CC courses

Important information - please read before you look for a course

The training provided by the Clinical Research Network Coordinating Centre is going through a period of change and transition. The growth and development of Clinical Research Networks and the diverse needs of the workforce who support NIHR Portfolio research studies means there is a recognised need to take stock and make sure that that there is a coherent approach to training and development that makes the most effective use of resources and that will increase the capacity and capability of the workforce into the future. We are working closely with the Department of Health and other areas of the NIHR to produce a coherent strategy that will guide future activities.

During this transition our major focus is on the development and delivery of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Valid Informed Consent training. All eligible participants can continue to access the core training provision during this transition phase, including the on-line and taught GCP courses.
